I am about to get very personal. Last summer of 2011 I was hospitalized…for __________. It was not as bad as one would think though. At the hospital, I was able to hone my art skills with one of the most talented artists I’ve ever met.

His name is Curt. I had the opportunity to draw with him. He showed me his children’s series titled, “Cornelius the Grumbo”. By meeting him and learning from him, I was inspired to want to learn how to animate. I practiced one day with some of Curt’s characters.

Meeting and getting to draw and learn from Curt also inspired me to start three comic series of my own. I am currently working on my series, “Red Notebook” comic, and the other two are in the works titled, “Soul Savers” and “The Adventures of Turt”.

After transferring from UMBC originally doing a pre-nursing track to go to Stevenson University to major in Visual Communications Design, Motion Graphics track, I feel as though the next step in exploring my interests in animation and film making is to go back to UMBC.

As an artist, my ambitions include: animating my own comics and booklet once I learn the necessary skills through furthering my education, hopefully at UMBC. I also would like to explore different areas of art besides animation, if possible. For example, I’m very interested in directing short or full length films. I had the opportunity to direct a skit for my college group church retreat this past summer of 2011, which we won first place in our competition. I was in stage crew for theater productions in high school, and I enjoyed working with sound effects, set design and construction. I also love traditional art, and am happy to say that I’m an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma graduate, and earned a score of: 6 out of 7 on my exam. In addition to directing, I just love the overall process of making skits, videos, movies, etc. and I am interested in exploring the intermedia concentration to make animations and films as well as photography.

This is the main character of my upcoming Christian comic series titled “Soul Savers”. The boy’s name is Heath. Song used: “Music Sounds Better With U” by Big Time Rush Everything is mine but the music. Please don’t use my animation without my permission.

So a lot has happened these past couple days. My mood has gone from up to down in a matter of seconds. God is awesome and always picks me up whenever I fall.

Most of you probably don’t know, but I was the cause of an incident that occurred last summer with  my old church. Basically I was really upset and said some evil things and basically got kicked out. But now it’s all good, I attend a new church, and my family and friends have forgiven me.

Or so I thought.

I don’t want to go into details, but I think there’s still tension over this unfortunately.

I just want people to know I’m really sorry and that it’s not entirely my fault.

I’m tired of being angry over this.

And from what it says in James, I shouldn’t be angry because it doesn’t accomplish God’s righteousness. I need to forgive myself and those that offended me, even though I know they would rather attack me back than admit what they did was wrong because that’s just how they are with me, and with everyone.

On a happier note: good things have happened to me as well.

I’ve finally decided to transfer back to UMBC for animation. I’m getting a Macbook Pro finally. And also, I’m trying to get my comics and booklet to be consigned. Wish me blessings for that one, please!

I’m also considering in transferring to go out of state or to the Philippines, idk yet. Gotta pray about it all first…

SHE IS AN AMAZING PERSON AND HAS GREAT POTENTIAL AS A SOUL SAVER.

I PRAY THAT SHE CONTINUES YOUR WAR O’LORD! BECAUSE MY SISTER, KNOWS…SHE KNOWS! LORD GOD that the war is already won.

But these battles must be continued.
